Using KMC technology has reduced newborn death and morbidity." This study examines Embu County's KMC technology sustainability aspects. It focuses on county KMC innovation's financial, health worker, facility, and management barriers. The study employed descriptive research and questionnaires to acquire quantitative data. Level four and five health facilities in Embu County were studied, including the General Hospital, Consolata Hospital Kyeni, Runyenje Sub County Hospital, Siakago Sub County Hospital, and Ishiara Sub County Hospital. Six hundred physicians, nurses, and hospital nursing services managers were targeted. This research recruited 282 individuals using stratified random sampling=yamane formula, 52 physicians and 230 nurses. Descriptive and inferred findings were obtained via SPSS version 26.0 data analysis. KeMU's ethical review board and NACOSTI approved the study's ethics. Financial considerations positively and statistically significantly affected KMC implementation (coefficient = 0.246; p = 0.000). KMC implementation improves with improved healthcare facilities and techniques, as the coefficient for healthcare-related variables was 0.281 (p = 0.000). The coefficient for facility-related components was 0.294, p = 0.000, demonstrating that KMC requires appropriate facility resources and support. Last, self-care had a 0.170 coefficient (p = 0.000). Additionally, the coefficient for management-related parameters was significant at 0.170 (p = 0.000), confirming the requirement for effective management to improve KMC implementation. The research shows that financial, health worker, facility, and management-related variables positively and substantially affect continuous KMC. At all levels, Embu County hospitals need sustainable financing technologies. Kangaroo Mom Care Finding sustainable financing requires constant technology. KMC programs should get more significant government funding and donor funding. Healthcare centres should embrace fee-for-service models to finance KMC programs. Healthcare staff may learn about KMC's latest practices and procedures through training and workshops. KMC implementation will improve with efficient resource allocation to these facilities.en_US
